Hope you had a fantastic winter break and that you're looking forward to the new year! WEB has a lot in store for you this Spring! WEB is excited to continue sharing our newsletter with you. Every two weeks we will notify you about upcoming events, highlights, and announcements. Special thanks to those who participated in our virtual events and activities in the Fall! WEB had a successful semester greatly due to your attendance and participation. We appreciate your support!

Spotify Playlist: New Year Vibes - 1/13
We're starting off the year with good music and good vibes. Check out our newest Spotify playlist to set of the year right!

Vision Board Workshop - 1/14
Tune in to our IGTV and watch WEB members get crafty as they created 2021 vision boards. Make sure to check our Instagram page for reflective questions and supplies needed to create your own.

ASUA Welcome - 1/15
Spend the afternoon with WEB and ASUA Student Body President, Tara Singleton. Learn more about the Student Government & Programs and Tara's vision for the Spring on Instagram or listen in on Spotify.

Martin Luther King Day - 1/18
Martin Luther King Day is a federal holiday held annually on the third Monday of January. It celebrates the life and achievements of Martin Luther King Jr., an influential American civil rights leader. He is most well-known for his campaigns to end racial segregation on public transport and for racial equality in the United States.

WEB acknowledges Dr. King's contributions and service as a leader. In addition to celebrating  Dr. King's birthday, MLK day is also known as a day of service. There are ways to safely volunteer during the pandemic. You can look into virtual opportunities as well.  The Corporation for National and Community Service allows you to search its database for local and national MLK Day volunteer opportunities.

A.C.E (Arts, Culture, and Culture) Watch - 1/22
The Wildcat Events Board will be spotlighting another member from our diverse community here at the University of Arizona. With a campus full of incredible students, it is only right that we acknowledge those who are doing great work on campus and in the community. Our initiative allows student to share more about themselves, including their school/career goals, extracurricular activities, hobbies and unique experiences on campus.
