Bank letters are required for banks to open accounts or change co-signers for student organizations.
Clubs or other informal associations should not open any banking accounts under the University name, including any of its variants listed below:
· The University of Arizona
· University of Arizona
· U of AZ
· Board of Regents, University of Arizona (or any similar variants)
· Or contain The University of Arizona in the bank account name.
In addition, University tax identification number may not be used on any account that is not authorized by the University of Arizona.
These letters state that your groups is officially recognized by the University of Arizona. You can request a bank letter online at https://asuatoday.arizona.edu/bank-letter. Please note: it may take up to 14-21 days to process the letter.
